A Thailand Christian Mission Update from Agape Church Suphanburi

“Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” — Ephesians 6:10

As we write this update to you, our hearts are full.

Full of gratitude.
Full of stories.
Full of quiet reminders that God is faithful — even in the small, unseen places of obedience.

To our dear prayer partners, supporters, friends, and family across the United States and other English-speaking nations — thank you. Your prayers cross oceans. Your generosity builds bridges. Your encouragement strengthens our hands.

Because here is something we have learned again this year:

When God calls a family, He also raises a community to sustain them.

And you are part of that community.

🙏 PRAISE REPORTS: WHAT GOD IS DOING IN THAILAND

1. Discipleship & Agape Church’s 1st Anniversary

One year ago, Agape Church Suphanburi began with a simple prayer:
“Lord, build not just a congregation — build a Christ-centered community.”

This December, we celebrate our first anniversary.

In a culture where Christianity represents a small minority, every Bible opened, every prayer lifted, and every conversation about Jesus is a quiet miracle. We have witnessed hearts soften. We have seen new believers ask deep questions about Scripture. We have walked with families learning how to follow Christ in daily life.

We are not a large church.
We are not a flashy church.
But we are a growing church — rooted in Scripture, discipleship, and love.

In Acts 17:11, the Bereans were commended because they examined the Scriptures daily. That has become our heart as well. We want to be a church that learns deeply, loves sincerely, and lives obediently.

If faith grows through discipleship, and discipleship grows through consistent teaching, then a one-year anniversary is not just a milestone — it is evidence of steady spiritual roots.

And for that, we praise God.

2. FAITH Foundation Progress — A New Door Opens

Another major praise: The FAITH Foundation has officially received approval from the Thai government.

This step required patience, paperwork, prayer, and perseverance. There were moments we wondered how long the process would take. But God’s timing is never rushed and never late.

The FAITH Foundation exists to serve Thai communities through holistic outreach — educational programs, community support initiatives, and Christ-centered engagement that reflects both compassion and truth.

Why does this matter?

Because missions is not only about preaching sermons. It is about living the Gospel visibly.

When communities see integrity, service, and love in action, the message of Christ becomes tangible. And in Thailand, where trust is built slowly and relationally, this foundation allows us to serve in sustainable ways.

We believe long-term fruit grows from long-term presence.

3. Our New Website Is Live

We are also excited to share that our new website is now live:

This platform allows us to connect with partners globally, share testimonies, provide updates, and offer discipleship resources.

In today’s digital world, mission work extends beyond geography. Many people in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and other English-speaking countries want to stay informed and pray strategically. This website helps bridge that gap.

If technology can amplify encouragement, then we want to steward it well.

🙌 PRAYER REQUESTS: HOW YOU CAN STAND WITH US

While we celebrate what God has done, we also recognize our ongoing dependence on Him — and on your partnership.

1. Long-Term Mission Calling

God is leading us to remain in Thailand longer than we initially planned.

This calling brings joy — and responsibility.

Cross-cultural ministry stretches us spiritually, emotionally, and practically. Language learning continues. Cultural understanding deepens. Relationships require patience. But through it all, God sustains.

Please pray for:

  • Spiritual strength

  • Emotional resilience

  • Wisdom in leadership

  • Protection for our family

  • Continued unity in our marriage and parenting

If God’s work is long-term, then faithfulness must be long-term too.

And we want to remain steadfast.

2. Financial Provision for Family & Ministry

Mission work requires both faith and financial support.

We ask for prayer in these specific areas:

  • Our family’s daily living needs

  • Church ministry expenses

  • FAITH Foundation outreach programs

  • Future leadership training for Thai believers

We share this transparently because missions thrives through partnership.

In 1 Corinthians 15:58, Paul writes:

“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

Sometimes donors wonder:
Does my support really matter?

Here is our honest answer: Yes.

Every prayer prayed.
Every monthly gift given.
Every message sent.

It is not in vain.

If ministry fruit grows from faithful investment, and you invest faithfully, then you are part of the fruit.

A PERSONAL REFLECTION FROM OUR FAMILY

Living on mission has changed us.

It has simplified our priorities.
It has stretched our faith.
It has reminded us that comfort is not the same as calling.

There are days we feel strong.
There are days we feel tired.
But we are never alone.

Ephesians 6:10 reminds us to “be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.”

Notice it does not say be strong in your strategy.
It does not say be strong in your resources.
It says be strong in the Lord.

Strength flows from connection.

If a branch remains connected to the vine, it bears fruit. If it disconnects, it withers. The same is true for missionaries, pastors, churches, and supporters alike.

Our strength is not in numbers.
It is in abiding.

Why Thailand? Why Now?

Many have asked why we remain in Thailand.

Thailand is spiritually rich in culture but largely unreached with the Gospel. Christianity represents a very small percentage of the population. Many people have never had a meaningful conversation about Jesus.

Yet the Thai people are kind, relational, thoughtful, and deeply spiritual.

If love builds trust, and trust opens hearts, then long-term presence matters.

We are here not for quick results, but for faithful sowing.

And we trust God for the harvest.

Your Partnership Makes His Work Visible

Sometimes mission updates can feel like distant reports.

But here is the deeper reality:

When you pray, you participate.
When you give, you invest.
When you share our story, you multiply impact.

If God is moving in Thailand, and you are supporting the movement, then you are part of what He is doing here.

That is not poetic language.
That is biblical partnership.

Philippians 1:5 speaks of “partnership in the gospel.” That is what we experience with you.

Looking Ahead with Hope

As we enter another year of ministry, our prayer is simple:

May we remain faithful.
May we remain teachable.
May we remain rooted in Scripture.
May we remain strong in the Lord.

And may Agape Church Suphanburi continue to grow — not just numerically, but spiritually.

Because if discipleship deepens, the church strengthens.
If the church strengthens, the Gospel spreads.
If the Gospel spreads, lives are transformed.

And that is why we are here.

With thankful hearts,
